The room was spacious & well-appointed. The doorman was most courteous & helpful & desk staff were always congenial. The morning breakfaast is as convenient as the hotel's location. The lobby & foyer never appeared crowded.

A hair dryer in the bathroom would be a great idea. And i didn't bring my laptop so getting online was a bit of an issue.

At the reception desk also English spoken. Wifi Internet with hotel password works and is free of charge. Buffet breakfast not included in the room rate (55 Yuan per person) was of fresh quality and tasty. Minibar drinks cheap (soft drinks and local beer only 5 Yuan each)

All their staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good location, 5 min. walking distance to Beijing Railwaystation. Booked a tour to the Great Wall at the Hotel at 7:30AM and got picked up at 10AM on the same day. Taxis are cheap, 10Y for the first 3 km which takes you to Tian'anmen square.

I have stayed here three times and would return. The hotel is efficiently run and the staff are helpful, friendly, and speak enough English. The location is excellent. The room is quiet, very clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning. The food in the restaurant is a little pricey but good quality. All in all this is excellent value for a centrally located three star hotel in Beijing.

Service in the restaurant is extremely slow! Ok if you aren't in a hurry. Use of hotel's computer internet facility is extremely expensive. Better use a nearby internet cafe or bring your own laptop.

Good location and close to Rail Station.

Spa service is disappointing. Poor service for the money paid. Not well trained.

Ideal location, 1 mins walk from metro station exit(Beijing railway station). There are alot of convenience stores, internet shop and local restaurants around the hotel. The Beijing railway station is 2 min walk from hotel if requires you to travel to other provinces. If you are going for budget travel, this is a very good choice. I would definitely book this hotel again should i travel to Beijing again.

The air conditioner for heat doesn't seem to work. The lighting is quite dim in the room. Not enough of lights to make the room bright at night.

The map from Booked.net showing where the hotel is is wrong, and I spent about 40 minutes wandering around Suzhou Hutong until finally some local people called the hotel for me to find out where it was. Later, I had the same problem with a hotel I booked in Shanghai through Booked.net. Booked.net really needs to get its act together and make sure that the maps are correct!!!

It was very easy to change travellers cheques at the hotel and it is very near to a subway access.

The surrounding area feels unhygienic.

Price was good and hotel very well located for sights and access to public transport
